So this is the New Year, and I don’t feel any different

I was composing an end of the year post in my head, but I flew home from Hawaii overnight on the 30th and then could not manage to stay up until midnight on December 31st. Now it just seems like New Years just came and went and now it’s a little late. But here goes.

The major thing that really stands out in my mind about 2009 was that it was a year of a lot of things coming to an end: particularly my time living by myself in Burnaby and my time in university. For the first time in six and a half years, I am not starting a new round of classes tomorrow and it feels amazing.

As for 2010, I have no idea what it will bring. The Olympics in February, Roomie and DeFunk’s wedding in May and then my convocation in June. After that I could be anywhere doing anything. God only knows, and I’m so thankful for it.
