I got to work this morning and my coworker was all, “your nails perfectly match your scarf!” Do you guys ever colour match things without meaning to? It happens to me a lot. I guess there are some colours that I’m just drawn to. There is probably some deep psychological meaning behind this. But I’m just going to chalk it up to the fact that I really like this turquoise-y green colour. Deep.

I have a love hate relationship with American Apparel polish. I love the colours. I love how fast it dries. I love the finish. I hate the bottle and the gigantically long brush. I hate how it doesn’t last as long as other nail polish. We’ll call this one a draw, AA.
In other beauty product news, I am trying out a new hand cream. Someone in our office has allergies and we’ve been asked to switch to natural/non-smelly products. I got some of this Hemp Hand Protector stuff from the Body Shop and so far I’m really digging it. It’s nice and natural smelling and seems to be working miracles on my cuticles. It’s mega on sale this week if you want to try it out.
ps – Ok. Taking these kind of super obvious self portrait-y shots makes me squirmy and uncomfortable. How do people bring themselves to do duck face un-ironically? I cringe just thinking about it.
pps – “Miracles on my Cuticles” would be a great name for a nail art themed web series. Get on it, somebody.
